Yes, we understand that even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs can be significant for some patients, and without insurance, it can be challenging. We do offer payment plans and will work with patients on an individual basis to make the financial aspect more manageable.
For example, if you owe a certain amount (say $1,000) after insurance, we can often set up an installment plan where you pay that in monthly increments over time (e.g., $100 a month for 10 months). There’s typically no interest on medical payment plans in our practice if payments are made as agreed. We just require that you communicate and sign an agreement for the payment schedule.
If your financial situation is very difficult, let us know – in some cases, we might be able to reduce the fee or connect you with assistance programs. We don’t have a formal financial assistance foundation of our own, but we can possibly adjust charges or point you to charities for cancer patients.
Additionally, we accept major credit cards, HSAs, FSAs, which might ease the immediate burden. Some patients use CareCredit or similar healthcare credit services; we accept those if you prefer to finance through such a company.
The bottom line is: we never want cost to prevent you from getting necessary treatment. So yes, we will definitely offer flexible payment arrangements. During your financial consult, bring up any concerns and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We pride ourselves on being patient-friendly not just in medical care but also in financial policy. It’s not uncommon for us to have patients pay over several months for their portion. As long as you communicate and make steady payments, we’re fine with that.
So please, if you need a plan, just ask – our billing department can tailor something. We find that most patients appreciate the option to pay over time instead of a lump sum, and we’re happy to provide that relief.
In summary, yes, we do offer payment plans for IG-SRT charges and are willing to work with you so that finances don’t stand in the way of you receiving this beneficial treatment.
